Desktop Support Analyst - Windows - (18 Month FTC)

A Desktop Support Analyst is required to join a high performing and prestigious organisation to deliver high quality IT support to the business enabling efficient and effective use of the IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Support and administration of IT systems, remote desktops and mobile devices.

  • Build machines and deploy to the end users.

  • SCCM administration and software deployments.

  • Ensure support desk queries are actioned as per service level agreements, kept up to date and communicated to the end user at all times.

  • Publish support documentation to assist both customers and internal teams.

    Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and applications with emphasis on Windows 7 & 10, and Microsoft office.

  • Knowledge in SQL database

  • Knowledge of VMware technologies

  • Rounded network knowledge and skills

  • Broad exposure to desktop hardware and software

  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL principles

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Previous exposure to a support/service desk function
